Firmware v1.1.3

Presently 2 unlocks are available for 1.1.3

1) By Nate Tru

2) Dev Teams Official Unlock

Presently only an Upgrade is available from 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 as the base band has not yet been unlocked although there have been reports of an hardware unlock been performed.

1) Nate Tru's Unlock

    nate tru's unlock as far the easiest unlock which requries an installation of ibrkr on a windows Computer and the jail break is auto. the unlock can be done from 1.1.1 or 1.1.2, although this method works for many ppl , this was not considerd an official unlock as it had adverse effects on sme phones.

2) Dev Teams Official Unlock

    The Dev team had released their unlock after nate Tru;s Unlock, but their approach was firm and it was manditory to upgrade from 1.1.2 in order for the unlock to work propertly as the New Apple's Software installer tends to get scrambled if the upgrade hasnt been done from 1.1.2.

Both Unlocks fail to install and unlock the baseband and is only a softunlock which means the *google map's locate me* feature does not work and base band radio are not updated either.]

This Firmware was Leaked before its release , so our friends had a headstart in cracking it.

The hack was released few days ago, as an upgrade for 1.1.1 and 1.1.2,

but it has many Bugs, as i noticed

call Ringtone gets Mute, sms ringtone works.

Google's Locate me doest work , 

as the upgrade does not upgrade the PHONE"S GSM module

so locate me requires dat to function.

Gprs and Edge settings are not editable as it exits as soon as u press return key

Summerboard , Customise ( theame applications ) do not Work.

No special features in this version, just additional language support were added..

Sweet Firmware v1.1.1

When Firmware 1.1.1 was released it broke all unlocks and intiallly didnt allow any 3rd party applications,

later a VEry simple hack was released to crack down 1.1.1,

it boasted of Features such as *Vedio out* and Home Button double Tap, the sms bug was fixed too.

for Others who had to upgrade from a lower version need to go thru and Virginising Process ..ie getting cleaned up.

in a Nut Shell , this is the Preferable Firmware for Ppl in Asia as it has the same features as of 1.1.3 expt Google locate me, multiple sms, Icon Drag.

whcih can be compensated by installation of 3rd party applications available for 1.1.1

Firmware 1.0.2

Well the Firmware 1.0.1 was nearly the same as its Previous one , just that few Bugs were updated,

Firmware 1.0.2 was Unlocked Via Software by a Program called ibrkr by nate Tru.

this firmware supported 3rd party applications and could be used with any SIM cards by an Application called *anysim*.

the 1.0.2 had SMS related Bugs which it couldnt render the SMS sent from an web server and ended up scrambled.

and Also when i was using it , i couldnt get the SMS recharge Sms's like ur account has been recharged, i had to check  balance manually..

Firmware 1.0.0

Well its the Frist Software Version of Iphone,

it had default 6 features and supported 3rd party Applications.

Most unlocks to this version of Firmware was done via hardware method 

( which you could make out by looking at the back cover of the Iphone and Running your finger along the lines of the phone, any slight uneven ness, you can know for sure that the particular phone was hardware unlocked and later was software upgraded.

Well there isnt anything i haven't Done with my Iphone,...etc

Ive been searching google for quite Sometime now, but i found no Blogs or websites or anything from any users from india and sharing their experience's with iphone and its issues to sort out problems and stuff.

like Firmware Upgrades, softwares....etc issues

So if anyone out there Needs help with his iphone , queries..etc 

anything about iphone/ipod touch,
